We know that visiting somewhere new can be a bit scary. We also know that life is just easier when you know the answers! To make things flow a little better, we’ve listed all the things we think you might like to know, before you visit or join us in any way.

  • We are open Monday to Thursday between 9am and 5pm or 9am to 3pm on Fridays, when we close a little early.

We are open to the public, so you can visit in person, or you can call us on our main phone line - 01453 548530. If you need to get in touch with us outside of these times, then the best way to do that is to phone us and leave a message on our answerphone. Messages will be picked up when we are next back in.

  • Yes. Lots of activities are now meeting face to face while others have continued online. Take a look at our latest ‘GL11 What’s on Guide’ which tells more about what is going on and where each activity will be held.

  • Yes we are easy to find. GL11 is signposted from the main road from Cam to Dursley (Cam Pitch or A4135) and we stand proudly in the corner of Fairmead. We are situated just off the main road, A4135 within Cam and 1.8 miles from the centre of Dursley. We are very near to the Orchard Medical Centre and easy to spot, as you drive, or walk along Fairmead; just look out for the GL11 Bee on the side of our building. Our address for Satellite Navigation is; GL11 Community Hub, Fairmead, Cam, Gloucestershire, GL11 5JS.

  • Yes. We have a small number of car parking spaces on the premises at GL11 and they are for anyone who can’t walk far or just needs to park close by. There is roadside parking in Fairmead but, as we are in a residential area, we ask that you park considerately when you visit us - we treasure the good relationship we have with our neighbours!

  • Yes. We are a small site, but we have five parking spaces allocated to us for our visitors. They have blue badges but they are for anyone who needs to park as close as possible for whatever reason. They are situated close to our entrance doorway and the kerb is lowered, but care needs to be taken when visiting, so please take your time when entering the building, as we want you to arrive safely!

  • Yes. Our entrance door is extra wide and has a push button for opening. Once inside, we have made sure that classes and activities are held on the ground floor and are accessible to all. We are also a dog friendly place, whether that be guide dogs, assistance dogs, therapy dogs or any dog companion (well behaved ones that is!)

  • Yes. We ask that you DO NOT attend the Hub if you test positive on a Lateral Flow Test prior to your visit, OR if you have cold or flu-like symptoms.
