Therapeutic Counsellor

6 hour/11 hour contract

GL11 is a busy Community Hub based in Cam, Gloucestershire, providing a wide range of community activities including wellbeing, volunteering, employment and family services to support a thriving local community.

The GL11 Counselling Service is an innovative mental health partnership between GL11 Community Hub and local GP surgeries. It provides tailored support in a community setting for patient needs including anxiety and depression, grief, loneliness and life issues as part of an individuals’ ongoing journey to develop resilience and build social networks.

We are seeking a qualified counsellor to begin work as soon as possible to provide short-term counselling on Saturday mornings, in conjunction with a local GP surgery.

Fortnightly in-house clinical supervision is provided as part of the role and the team also meet for a monthly team meeting. More information on this can be found in the job description.
