First Aid Training

GL11 Community Hub is an Approved Training Provider (ATP) delivering Royal Life Saving Society UK (RLSS UK) First Aid awards. Our ATP number is 10031971.
We are currently offering Emergency Paediatric First Aid (EPFA) and Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) courses. RLSS UK offer exceptional support meaning as well as receiving a certificate valid for 3 years, you will have access to numerous resources to keep you up to date and informed of new developments in first aid practice.
About your trainer
Our in-house Trainer Assessor is Will Angsten Clark. Will works at GL11 as a Project Co-ordinator and a Physical Activity Navigator. Will’s background is in expedition leadership and adventure tourism where, amongst other things, he owned and operated a class-5 whitewater rafting company on the White Nile in Uganda. Not only does Will have huge experience in practising first aid, but he is also a qualified secondary teacher, bringing exceptional pedagogical practice to the classroom.
Current courses
Emergency Paediatric First Aid (EPFA)
Our EPFA courses are specifically aimed at new parents, and we offer these courses in four sessions of 1 hour 45 minutes over four weeks, with a creche.

Our EFAW courses are offered as a one-day course running from 9am - 5pm.
