Trainee Therapeutic Counsellors

Volunteering Opportunity

Our counselling service is an innovative partnership between GL11 Community Hub and local GP surgeries. It provides tailored counselling and health coaching support in a community setting for patient needs as part of an individual’s ongoing journey to develop resilience and build social networks.

We are seeking trainee counsellors to join our team to carry out short-term counselling on behalf of GL11 Counselling Service.

Individuals will need to be registered with a professional counselling membership body (e.g. BACP) and completing relevant Level 4 or above counselling training.

Previous counselling placement experience is desirable.

Individuals are required to attend fortnightly in-house clinical supervision, a monthly training session for CPD (both provided by GL11 Community Hub) and complete a minimum of two counselling sessions per week.

Successful applicants will be subject to DBS checks being completed.

Quality and Impact Evaluation Lead

£28,020 per annum (pro rata)
22.5 to 30 hours per week

We are looking for an individual with strong project management skills to work closely with the Senior Leadership Team in developing the ways we can evidence our impact as we continue to deliver a high-quality service within the organisation and in the local community. 

In this busy and interesting role as Quality and Impact Evaluation Lead, you will be responsible for developing and implementing monitoring and evaluation across the various projects GL11 deliver, to ensure we gather the best possible evidence of our impact, as well as providing project management and administration support to the Community Wellbeing Director.

You will contribute to the welcoming and supportive culture of GL11, helping us to continue to inspire and making sure our vision, values and key aims are a living part of all our work.
