Bright Buttons Toddler Group visited by Fire Engine!

June 2008: Children from our Bright Buttons Toddler Group enjoyed the opportunity to look over a fire engine.

The engine from Gloucestershire Fire & Rescue Service visited the GL11 Community Project (home to Bright Buttons) and staff spoke to children about the importance of staying safe.

GL11 Project Manager Ann Wheeler said: “This was a really exciting morning for the children, but there was a serious message behind it for parents and children.”

Free home fire safety checks can be arranged with the Gloucestershire Fire & Rescue Service by ringing 0800 180 41 40.
