We work closely with several local education providers to offer you the best courses, on your doorstep at an affordable price. South Gloucestershire and Stroud College (SGS College) enable us to run essential courses such as Maths, literacy and computer skills as well as many of our wellbeing sessions. However, for those of us who desire more hands on learning opportunities we have sessions that include cookery provided by Adult Education, woodwork in The Men’s Shed with SGS College and more coming soon.

Why not try a new creative skill such as flower arranging, pyrography or cake decorating? Take a look at our latest evening workshops designed to help you explore new hobbies and skills in one off relaxed workshops.

Core maths skills can be gained in these informal sessions with our experienced tutor Lesley. You work at your own pace, not in a classroom taught setting, enabling you to focus on the areas that you feel need attention to help you gain that Level 1 or 2 qualification.

ESOL English

If English isn’t your main language these sessions can help you learn and gain more confidence in your own abilities. Improving your English can help you get more out of your life in the UK. These sessions are tailored to most levels of ability and are free to attend. Drop in on a Tuesday, 12noon-2pm.

Computers for Improvers

This course is designed for most people to move on to once completing the ‘Computers for Beginners’ course, above. Or perhaps you are at the level where you have conquered the basics and feel ready to learn more, such as Skyping relatives, placing an internet shopping order or typing a letter.

If you are unsure of which computer level you would fall under please give Beth or Natalie a call at reception, who will be able to help you decide which group is better for you. Call us on 01453 548530.
