| Funding helps young people work all year round | ||||||||||||||||
| A
community project which works with young people in the Cam area will be able
to work all year round, thanks to a grant from the Voluntary Sector Youth Capital
(VSYC) fund. GL11 was awarded £8,562 from the fund to buy a new shed for its Bike Shed project for 11-19 year olds. Bike Shed is a project for young people who learn practical skills and repair and refurbish bikes donated for the local community. Read more... |

1 October 2009 GL11 Community Project will operate as a Registered Charity,
and as a Company Limited by Guarantee. This does not alter our business aims,
objectives or operational activities. From a governance perspective, we now
have a group of Directors supported by a Company Secretary, in addition to
a Board of Trustees. Registered
in England and Wales, our Company Number is 6855624. Our new Charity Number
is: 1130096. |

| Magnox South Ltd gives great boost to GL11 | ||||||||||||||||

As
part of its socio-economic development scheme, Magnox South Ltd have made
an award of £25,000 to GL11. Magnox South Ltd which manages and
operates the Berkeley Nuclear Licensed Site in Gloucestershire has awarded
this initial funding as part of a potential three year funding agreement
which could see GL11 receive additional financial support. Ann Wheeler,
GL11 Project Manager said "To have been awarded these funds is a
tremendous boost to everyone involved with GL11." Read
