Members' Area

GL11's Management Committee consists entirely of volunteers from the catchment area and provides a grounded and multi-faceted base for the work, and fun, that goes on at the Project.
Our current Chair is Dave Butterfield. Dave first got involved in the GL11 Community Project a couple of years ago when we applied to Dursley Lions Club for funds for mobile computer training. He was then Welfare Chair of the Lions and was so impressed with what the Project was doing that he wanted to support it.

A word from our Chair...

"The Project has the community at its heart – it works hard to involve and welcome everyone and does such a lot to support families in the area.

What we always need are more volunteers to help provide the services and support which we offer – at the moment we'd really appreciate help from someone with experience in finance and applying for funds. The Government is expecting more and more from community projects like ours, but we need the skills and staff to support the volunteers in the long term – and to do that, we need money!"
