About Us
The
GL11 Community Project operates as a Registered Charity, and
as a Company Limited by Guarantee. We provide a wide range of services for
the local community living and working in and around the GL11 postcode area.
There is no similar project within GL11. We have a solid base of volunteers
whose time and commitment ensure our continued success and development.
The services we provide include:
- education/training services and community support
- childcare services
- healthy living services
- research and consultancy services
- recreational services.
We aim to offer these services to local residents:
- at a price they can afford
- at a place they can get to
- at a time they can make it
- and ideally with crèche facilities available.
From 1 October 2009, GL11 Community Project started
operating as a Registered Charity, and as a Company Limited by Guarantee.
This does not alter our business aims, objectives or operational activities. From a governance perspective, we now have a group of Directors supported by a Company Secretary, in addition to a Board of Trustees.
Registered in England and Wales, our Company Number is 6855624.
Our new Charity Number is: 1130096.
